The Certified Business Economist (CBE®) program offers an Educational Scholarship Opportunity to support outstanding and deserving individuals who demonstrate strong academic performance, professional potential, and a commitment to the field of business economics.

This scholarship aims to make the CBE® program more accessible to high-performing students and early-career professionals who aspire to build careers in economics, business analysis, and strategic decision-making.

Successful applicants may receive partial or full support toward CBE® membership, training, or certification programs.

Scholarship Objectives

The CBE® Educational Scholarship is designed to:

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following general requirements:

Academic Qualifications

• Must hold or be currently pursuing a degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field
• Must be in good academic standing

Applicants should meet at least one of the following:

• Graduated or expected to graduate with Magna Cum Laude or equivalent honors
• Belong to the top 10–15% of the graduating class
• Consistent Dean’s List or academic distinction
• Strong academic record in economics, finance, or quantitative subjects

Professional or Leadership Potential

Applicants should demonstrate any of the following:

• Leadership roles in academic, professional, or community organizations
• Participation in research, competitions, or industry projects
• Internship or work experience related to economics, finance, or business analysis
• Active involvement in professional or student organizations
